Not necessarily. It's such a crap shoot with congested wireless areas. When you say the other router/network do you mean your router or a neighbor's?

It's too bad you can't go 5Ghz, I've seen it solve interference problems every time. The 2.4 band is so saturated. Can you run a cable instead of wireless?


The dLink router is for our home network and my wife's wireless connection. She is wireless because she wanted to do away with the ethernet cable in the room where her computer is.
