I have been bugging Neil to make Reboot an Administrator here, to run the show since Neil is so busy. But as you can see, nothing has happened. I really think Jim would make a top notch one, and he should have the ability to create new sections, merge old ones, and just plain get rid of some of the old crap around here.
What do you all think? We could use a little sprucing up around here.
I do appreciate the thought but we need to be able register new users first, the last new one was 6/18/16. Forum list by user number.
When someone loses their password it can't be reset the easy way.
The Captcha is broken if you want to try to register a new user from the Login page, although the Forums link on the MacTech.com page does link to here, Magazine/Forums.
Also if you click on User in the black header above Register new user goes to some page about register.com, and Edit User Settings goes to some random page at MacTech.
There is so much that needs to be done to make this place livable, and a lot of it is beyond what I can do, especially for free. Besides registrations, converting UBB to something else is probably the main thing.
I did post about it in the Mod forum back in 12/2016.
Again, thanks for the thought though. I figure the way it's running it's not a major expense, no upkeep needed, just glad it's still here.
