I was thinking the same thing when I wrote it, and have had similar thoughts before. Heck, I have a list of Obama woes. This has come up with conservative friends. "Here's what I don't like about Obama" I say. "What about Bush?" My conservative friend who even gave me an answer said, "He wasn't around long enough."

About Bush there's no doubt. He broke the middle east, and it's going to stay broken for a long long long time. There's not much Obama or anyone else could do about that. But in domestic issue after issue, Obama is just so middle of the road that it's depressing. If he's going to lose the vote anyway, why not make it an important loss?!
