Well I cashed in my dimes and nickels (literally) and saved enough to buy a 32" flat panel TV. DVD's look great, crystal clear, but Dish satellite quality kinda sucks. Lots of posterization and it looks like someone put cheesecloth over the lens. I have been one phone call away from canceling for years. and I refuse to pay more for HD channels.
Before I play the switch to DirectTV or Comcast game, does anyone out there just use a TV Antenna? Are you happy with it? Can you recommend a brand?
Try the cheap one first. If you live in a metropolitan area the signal will probably be plenty strong. You'll get a true HD picture from the airwaves as compared to cable etc, no compression. There is really no such thing as a "digital" antenna BTW, so don't get sold on that.
