I just updated iPhone and iPad to 7.02 - 09/26/13 10:56 AM

.

There was a message on the iPhone asking me if I trusted my computer [iMac]. I said yes. What's that about?

By the way, I used iTunes to update the iPhone and over the air to do the iPad. iPad was three times faster and completed first even though I started it a good 5 minutes after I did the iPhone.

I had repaired permissions on iMac several times but do not understand the results. Each time it said it found something amiss, and directly under that it would say repaired. Many of the noted changes or fixes were with iTunes. The results contained two or screen loads of that info. It seems it never really did repair anything. Yep, I rebooted and did it again with same results.

Anything else I should try?

It's something screwy with the recent iTunes updates, but is not causing a problem. They are not really errors, just sloppy housekeeping in the installer by Apple.

You can also usually ignore any "ACL found but not expected..." message. These messages can occur if you change permissions on a file or directory; they are accurate, but generally not a cause for concern.

Again, don't worry. Be Happy. grin

I rebooted again and used OnyX and rebooted and still got all that stuff.

Apple is messing with me, right? Me and Mother Nature do not appreciate that. wink

Yes I am. grin

Like I said, don't worry about it. I get the same thing. Like the links said, it's not really an error. The fix must come from Apple in the next iTunes update, maybe. Nothing is broken. It is really too technical to explain, trust me.

The best thing is for Apple is to exclude the "errors" from the Repair Permissions log like they have done numerous things before.

Too much information is a dangerous thing sometimes. smile
