Clearing Safari search line

Clearing Safari search line - 11/04/09 08:02 AM

In my iPhone Safari, when I start typing in the Google search field, it shows all previous search strings - including some really stupid ones I typed when bored.

Is there a 'clear history' function anywhere in the iPhone system?

Wherever you are on the iPhone, holding down the Power button (top) and then clicking the Home button (front) briefly, then letting go of both, takes a screenshot. The resultant image ends up in your camera roll, with a .PNG extension instead of jpg, for some reason - and yes, it's in CAPITALS which means you have to remember that (or edit it) if you ftp it somewhere and link to it.

Getting it off your phone is a palaver if you're not jailbroken (I am). USB cable and Grab are the easiest way, or you can email it to yourself!
