Error -192 in NUDC 5.2.3b3 on Leopard

After installing the latest beta of NUDC on my 10.5.1-booting Mac Pro, I wanted to input my serial number. I didn't have it on-hand immediately after installing, so I used the apps in demo mode--everything worked fine. But then I got the number and tried to input it.

The program crashed, and I couldn't get either Contact or UPD to load due to an error -192 (attached).

I've used the uninstall script many times and reinstalled--no dice; same error.

I've even tried installing the latest non-beta release--no dice.

I've looked for all NUDC files in my various Library folders to see if there are any stragglers after the uninstalls--I can't find anything.

Any clues?

It is a problem in a hidden file. Scripts for clearing the issue, and the accompanying instructions, are on their way through email.

Can you please send me the scripts as well? I'm also having the same issue. Also, what's the name and location of the hidden file that needs to be removed. I'd like to know where all the files associated with NUTDC are located in case I need to remove them in the future.

We need the same scripts and instructions, for the 192 error on reinstall of NUDC software under Leopard. We are operating Leopard 10.5.2. do you think we need to upgrade to the beta, or stick with 5.3.1?

Why is this affecting only one of our three computers?
Also, one of the three is still running on the demo. Is there anything I con do before I enter the proper license number to prevent the crashing?

Can I please get the scripts mentioned in this post

They are on their way.

The beta would be the better option under Leopard, as it does clear some Leopard related issues. As to why only one computer has had this issue, it is a corruption in a specific file that is causing the problem. It does not happen universally, or it would be mush simpler to track down and eliminate. We are working on a 5.3.2b4 that eliminates most of the causes of this error. Until then, we have the scripts, which I have sent.

I just rebuilt my laptop and cannot get to installing the serial number due to the '-192' error.

I have instructions from Jan 08 *uninstall, command line removal, clean sweep 123, however it does not work with the 5.3.2 version

Need 'Now' right away. -help.
