With AT&T's VM, if you press and hold "1" the phone auto dials VM. But there's no way to voice dial VM or so I thought. Turns out just tell Siri, "Call me", and you go straight to voice mail! Who'd-a-thunk-it? cool

Since I got the iPhone, I have never had to call for voice mail. I just use the visual voice mail on the phone. Much easier IMO, it's always right at your fingertips, and you don't use up any minutes that way either.

I use that most of the time. But when I'm in the car, I prefer hands-free, non visual calling so I can check VM via my BlueAnt speaker, and not take my hands off the wheel or my eyes off the road.

A coronal rash can really interfere with WiFi reception. Or so I hear.
