I heard there was a jailbreak for iOS 4. can I jailbreak my iPod if its the "MC" 2nd Gen apparently?

Keep an eye on this site - your iPod isn't supported at the moment. I'm not even sure your iPod will support iOS4?

Aww, it hasn't been supported for a long time.
I have iOS4 right now. it works fine. Just no multitasking and home screen Wallpaper.

Oh - you might be okay to jb it using the latest redsn0w though, if it's an iPod Touch 2G you have. And that's easy to use, too. See the section below the top one on that site (headed "All four one").

And you can use redsn0w to switch on multitasking and the wallpaper thing (though the latter will be slow on your iPod).

It said mine isn't supported.

Hang on, I'm confused though - it says:

For now, the redsn0w beta release supports only the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G at today’s 4.0. It’s still a beta, so you’ll need to let Cydia reorganize, reload, and update after using redsn0w.

Isn't that what you have?

It's the 2G MC version.

Oh, okay, I get it now - but it sounds like there'll be a jb along for the MC model sometime soon.
