He is looking for a Gigabit Ethernet 450-500 dual cpu I am guessing. They are still a bit pricey, I would look for a dual 800+ on ebay or on clearance from one of the many Mac vendors.
There is a sitting duck on eBay (dual 500) with NR and no bids for 35 bucks.
