Household object mods

anybody here ever find random things in your house and mod them? Just curious I just finished my mini maglite LED conversion, which worked suprisingly well. And btw happy holidays.

Oh sure. Just to feed that impulse, whenever I have old electronics that is hitting the trash pile, I always break out the soldering iron and take off any parts (ESPECIALLY LEDs) that might be useful later. But that's a rare occasion because I tend to never throw things away. You never know when something will come in handy for a mod project later!

Lets see. My guitar, My car, Took two of the same desks and made one huge desk. My airsoft guns, My vacuum cleaner, and my front door it knocks back when you knock on it.

I built a sensor kinda like a glass break that is connected to PCB that I built that makes a bolt move back and forth and hits the door creating a knocking sound. So when ever theres a knock it knocks back 1.5 seconds later.
