It took him a while, but he is starting to talk tough, now that he sees no alternative to acting or looking conciliatory.

Oh right, and Bush sucked, Fox News sucks, and Obama rules for eternity. He is above term limits. Amen.

Re: "So Sue Me" - 07/01/14 06:38 PM

I've heard it said that the best form of government is a benevolent dictator. I've a very good friend who spends a lot of time in Velensuala where, he sats, the populace loved Caesar Chavez

So maybe we need one here

Just sayin

Benevolent dictator?
I vote for Tom Hanks.
I mean, who doesn't love Tom Hanks?
Everybody loves Tom Hanks! wink

Having lived under a dictator once upon a time--young though I was, I can tell you that it wasn't such a hunky dory thing. Was he benevolent? To the people he liked, who supported him, yes. But the first thing that disappears under even the most benevolent of dictators is freedom of speech. Not my cup of tea.

Re: "So Sue Me" - 07/01/14 07:52 PM

Sigh.
I meant no offense. The only defense I have for things beyond my control, or comprehension, is snarky, sarcastic comments.

I'm so naive, that I truly believe this world could be a better place if we all worked together.

One of these days, I've got to grow up.
But not today! grin

Well, to be fair, Chavez was elected by popular vote, and also reelected by popular vote. I don't know how much vote fraud there was, but I doubt he needed it with as popular as he was.

Zat anything like "A Compassionate Conservative"?

May I remind you that GWDouche won the straw-poll
concerning people who'd like to share a beer with
the lying PoS?

Granted, Pres. Gore wasn't exactly "Mr. Warmpth"
...but I doubt we'd be in the stew we're in today
on several fronts, if the Florida "election" had
been on the square.

Well… Yeah…
But I blame Obama too.

How anyone can get behind any of these a-holes is beyond me…

Cause they like it from behind.

Oh yeah, I DID just say that.

One point made on a news show is they'll be wasting taxpayer $$ because a suit is likely to go nowhere !! Course they already ARE wasting taxpayer $$ sitting on their Fat adzes , collecting a salary, and Doin' Nutin !! tongue

BUT now they'll be wasting MORE… "the deficit watchers" … the "fiscally astute"… the responsible 'Family Values' party !! sick sick sick

Worse than that, it's meant to Sabotage the rest of Obama's 2nd Term
...just as it effectively brought about the halt not only any further forward
momentum of Clinton's there-to-fore successful presidency, but went on to
put the ol' ka-bosh on Gore AND Hilary for two presidential generations. smirk

I live in Arizona. I'm used to my local government having to use my tax money to pay for an avalanche of frivolous lawsuits caused by out of touch, egotistical idiots in politics.
