It is becoming more common, so maybe we needn't bother, but why not?

New Jersey is the 14th and newest state to allow marriage equality with legislation coming into effect on October 21st.

33 percent of Americans now live in states that allow gay marriage.

Whoops, I guess the State Senate still has to pass it, but that is likely. And Hawaii might be the 16th state if Illinois signs marriage equality into law first.

And Illinois, which I had missed, will have the governor sign marriage equality into law on November 20th. Good stuff.

Mayor Booker presided over a bunch
of ceremonies the same day it passed...

But let'snot wink forget that it passed
OVER Strong Objections from Gov. Christie

Same as several other Progressive Legislation
New Jerseyans passed over his STRONG Objections

Such As RAISING the MINIMUM WAGE, & Support For
Returning Veterans
