i found an old Sony VAIO from my PC daze that im going to transform intoa Das
but
one minor modification
recently, i disassembled my mouse, and rubber sprayed the body and buttons
much grippier now
i am going to rubber coat the keys!
im just going to soak the keys in alcohol for now

i picked it up from a Lowe's, it's called Plasti Dip
about $4 a can!

looks like the VAIO keyboard isn't going to work
disassembly is going to be too much work than it's worth
i have an NEC keyboard, that'll do it

You'll have to do a mod guide for this one. Sounds like something I would be interested in.

it's not gonna be a mac keyboard, but sure!
it's something anyone can use

Sounds cool, but i wouldn't want anything gripping my fingers like that. Just take into mind that the plasti dip can dry pretty thick and that may cause friction between the keys.

the stuff i got can be pretty thin, two coats will adequately coat the keys
and leave plenty of space without sticking
the reason im using rubber grip is because i have slight nerve damage
to my right hand
while i can still type fast, my fingers slip when i hit keys from time to time
thus, making me make spelling errors
i hope this rubber coating will solve this
