Logitech MX900 Modding... But How?

How the HELL do you open up an MX900? I see no obvious way to do it. I'd like to maybe replace the red LED with laser (the expensive and awesome option) or just a blue LED (the less expensive and cool-looking option). Anyone know how to do this and where to get good but cheap parts? I'm thinking I might also paint the shell black to match future mods to my PB. screen, and speakers.

I'm pretty sure that I recently read an article about those saying that you take off the little pads on the bottom and there are screws hidden under them, but I couldn't find the article, so i may be wrong

Make sure to do a mod guide when you get it sorted out. I want to paint mine to match.

take it apart and fit the components inside the apple bt mouse - that would be cool, and also probably impossible.

In more "possible" mods, maybe painting the circuit board would be cool if you can make it clear.

RadioShack's been where i've been getting mine, but they have them on eBay (as is true for everything)

You know, I saw a take a part in some pc mod mag. Maybe I can find it and give you some tips.
As for the LED, go to Radioshack. Although they have less and less each day, I think they still have LEDs.

I suppose... Heheh... RadioShack would be the easiest bet though. I wish I knew where one is in my area... *sigh* I guess I'll have to be a little less lazy than I'd like.

go to Radio Shack's Home Page and in the top right there is a box that says "store locator - Zip Code" and it'll do the searching for you
