New G5...but memory problems

Woo hoo I finnally got a G5. But, I got some memory to go with it, and it still hasn't shown up on the About This Mac window...help

Have you tried another RAM slot? What are the specs of the new RAM? Et cetera...

if it's a tower you have to install RAM in pairs. also you have to make sure they are in the right positions/slots
