Ive finally worked out the probs with my powermac g3 beige and now Im looking to upgarde acn anyone give me an idea of upgardes and cost

You should also consider buying this vram upgrade: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/G3VRAM4/

It will allow you to run higher resolutions with higher colour depth.

Get a vid card for that thing!  I also suggest a hard drive controller card.  That should really speed things up.

Yes a real PCI vid card would be best.  I recommended the vram upgrade because its only $20..

BUT, you can find ati 7000s for around the same price, which would be much better.  I seriously recommend the ata/sata card too, as the hd speed on that board is only 5-10mb.  You can overclock too if you have the right processor.  I did get a G3 copper to 450 in the desktop version with some extra cooling.  Keep us posted.  Old Macs are cool and modded old Macs are even cooler!
