Upgrading G4 Power Supply - 07/09/07 09:36 AM

Hello, I've got a G4 Digital Audio that I'm upgrading everywhere I can, and on limitation (power and noise!) was the PS. I recall reading somewhere that the pins from an ATX PS won't match up with the mobo..true? False? If false, how would I splice and rewire them? Thanks!

Heres a tip. Even though you can do away with the 28volt line and use a 12volt lead I would go ahead and get a small inverter for it. I've went though two boards using the 12volt way and one didn't work at all (might of been DoA) and the other worked for about 30minutes.

Well, if there's anybody who'd like to help me out with it, do let me know! lol I'm not well versed in electronics, so yeah. smile
