I found a kit that adds three 40mm fans to memory. It clips over the memory chips.

Memory doesn't really need to be cooled unless it is running beyond its specifications which no Mac memory does.  Most Macs just wont OC the FSB which in turn bumps the memory speed.  Three 40mms will be nasty whiny too, with heat spreaders being all any Macmodder ever needs.

the 3 that you shipped to me have heat spreaders right?  I would think that something to help memory cooling is good on an MDD as the ram is right next to the massive heatsinik.
