B&W led mod aka boredom :p

Okay i was really bored as i waited for my imac to get back from repair (took 4 days).
So after overclocking my old b&w i decided to add some leds to it. Nothing fancy or anything, just plain light.

I added a red led behind the apple logo on both sides.





I was thinking about adding white leds underneath it, and less powerfull red leds in the handles. But as i got my imac back, i haven't really gotten around doing it yet

Very nice! White LEDs would bring a great look to it, though I'm curious. Did you use the pressure tabs for the sides (behind the logo) as a LED holder, or did you just remove those?

Neither actually. I drilled a hole in the case, and mounted the small 3mm led in one of those plastic mounting things (don't know what they are called). It fit's perfectly behind the logo without changeing anything about it.

Cool. It looks like the Apples have evil eyes in them... Like the Tower of Baradur...
