hey
ive just built a laptop cooler out ov a

synrnge box, 80mm neon fan and 2 rolls of tape

heres the result

MikeMan,

Are you using a standard keyboard and mouse or are you having to maneuver yourself around the cardboard?

Thats quite a cooler. Does you pc laptop run that hot? Now what if someone made a cooling dock that used watercooling? Hmmmm. Now that would be cool.

Lol, yea thats a big cooler. But i guess it works as a "laptop-raiser" at the same time (don't know what they are called those things) smile .

Do you see any improvement in cpu temp?

Yea, you know those plastic/metal things that raises your laptop from the desk.

heres a new pic, yes i do have an external keyboard and mouse 2 bad i havent got the apple pro out i sometimes use it but mum likes the fat spacebar on the MS internet keyboard ive got

i just realized i'm using something equally as ghetto as your cardboard contraption.

it's basicaly two psu fans with contact tape on the bottom to hold them to a peice of art board, then there are two keys from an old keyboard to hold up my laptop and let air flow under it the keys also have contact tape to keep them adhered to the art board. i did sauder a switch to the fans, saudered that to a firewire cable and powered it by an old ipod power supply laugh

my powerbook runs alot cooler now :P
