and yes, ive looked into(and installed) DockFun
it's not the answer im looking for
i have my normal dock on the left side of the screen
id like another dock on the top for games
one on the right for my multimedia apps
you see where im going with this?
id just like to know if what im looking for exists.

wow, this is a good question, and I can't say that I have seen it done. Maybe someone else will have more info for ya. This would make a killer mod for the mod challenge though.

What was wrong with Dockfun? I only tried it out briefly, don't remember too much about it. But from what I do remember, it should be exactly what you want.

i couldnt stand the look of the movable dock, with the orientation buttons poking out
i want one dock for games, one for multimedia apps, and one for web stuff
id keep my apps on the left, web stuff on top, and multimedia on the right
but
i want ACTUAL DOCKS like the standard dock in OS X, you know?
aaah, i dont even know where to begin with this
but im gonna try it!

Start off with the dock.app file and try playing around with the plist's inside the app. I don't have any inclination to assist, though that's probably a good starting point.
