new motherboard for ibook

just out of curiosity, is there any other way to hook up the display from an ibook G3 (dual USB/ single firewire model) to any other motherboards? my motherboard's toast, and i'm looking for a new one. I'm wondering if there are any other models with the same connections that would work....

i know it's probably not a possibility, but thought I'd ask anyways!

All the white iBooks use the same display connector. Right up to the G4. Both sizes.

War is right. The video interconnect cables all have the same logic board connector. There's several variants on the LCD panel side, but the board connectors are the same.

However in the last model of the G4, the LVDS cable is a different length/shape, and using one from an older panel is a pain
