how do you extend sccreen cable

how can u extend the screen cable on the 12 inch ibook?

With a great deal of patience and some very high quality connections.

I read somewhere that there is a max length for the cable, but I can't remember where...

If it's that plastic crap with runners then you can make one out of foil and clear package tape. Or buy some of the coil repair for car back-windsheilds.
