I know a guy who used to search for unauthorized use of copyright images (porn of all things). He quit after a few months... how much of that sh!t can you stand to look at? Too much of a good(?) thing I guess.

I do a lot of that in my job, surf the internet and get paid for doing it. Checking on the competition, keeping abreast of the new technologies and things like that. Of course most of my time is spent testing our website, but I do get around a lot on the internet too. Don't get to travel much though. Almost got sent to Germany about 2 years ago, but then the dotcom bubble burst and all those well laid plans for international expansion got canned. It would have been a cool assignment and in my hometown, Munich. Ah well.

Carp, it was a real letdown not boing to Germany and to boot, it happened the day after I had to put one of our cats to sleep. I was pretty bummed out about that and then that added to it, really made my day! The cat I had to put to sleep was Hobie, a Maine Coon. He was blind for probably 13 of his 15 years, but what a cat he was. Maine Coons are big, but he was bigger than most. At one time he weighed in at about 27 pounds. What a guy, sure miss him now and then.
