The huge Mac specialist/reseller that's moving into the building next store to me opens in 2 weeks! I can feel my wallet straining against the inside of my pocket!

That being the case you can buy me something.....like a Dual GHz model. I just want to help relieve the strain you are feeling, I know how terrible it can be. This action will make you feel GOOD. Re: Heaven on earth... almost - 04/23/02 07:39 PM

You know it's strange. I always have thoughts in my head where I kind of project what I want out of my life. Things don't always happen right away, in fact it can take years to come to fruition. But, in looking back, a lot of the things I have hoped for and dreamed about, have come true. You just have to put the thoughts out there I guess and the rest just follows. Strange how that works.

No, but did I mention it's FAST? Just a formality really and I wanted to insure that no one else would buy it before I got the money together for it.

The president of the company I work for has two Porsches. 911 and Carrera Turbo I think. And the owner has a whole stable full of exotic cars. Bentley, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Hummer, and I don't know what else.

I have heard that about the car, attracts women! That can't hurt, now if I were single that would be a real asset. I'll let you know about the girls per gallon sometime once I have had the experience! Hehe.

Now THERE'S a Strange Picture... - 04/24/02 02:44 PM

Stevie drops a basket on a line down to waiting salesguy below. Salesguy reads note, takes credit card and places new Mac in basket Yanks twice on string, up goes the Mac into Steve's office. Same scene gets repeated next day with Cinema Display. And the next with...

Sounds like Rear Window woman with little doggie.

John
[color:red]I don't need no steenkin' signature!

Re: Now THERE'S a Strange Picture... - 04/24/02 04:20 PM

Heh heh. It gets worse. The store owner is my upstairs neighbor. If the string should break, he'll just drop my stuff off on his way upstairs. I'm doomed.

Re: Advice from a friend - 04/24/02 05:08 PM

Please don't go in there for the first time by yourself. Bring a designated person who you can trust to guide you gently out of the store. One other thing...............uh......................wear an adult diaper.
