Candy, I hope you had a lovely birthday and did things that made you feel really great and loved. I know we here love you. Anytime you're in the neighborhood, drop in and sit a spell.

I hadn't thought about Bird / Candy in a while. She was such a balancing addition to this group.

Have a merry birthday!

What a woderful surprise laugh : Cel called me, also a pleasent surprise to let me know my old homies remembered my day !! It was very humbling after so long, blush I was without a puter for quite a while, turned it on and the screen turned red, then blue then flashed "screw you" cry My pennies at lhe time were going towards other fish to fry, like everyone else robbing peter to pay paul loL. Anyway you all have made this old crow very happy , I won't be as scarce as hens teeth and well it's just nice to reeturn to the flock, again thanks for remembring , Candy
Just letting you know hearing from you all made me get up and shake my tail feathers ( well the few I have left )
wink

You can hide your own Easter eggs !!" grin

I have never heard that song before.....I't brought tears to my eyes. Thank you both !!
I miss Peter, that someone who I have never met has brought so many smiles into my life over the years is amazing , generations to come will be sitting under trees that he has planted....can't think of a better legacy then that !!

God bless you mate . smile

Re: A Little BIRD Told Me... - 11/03/13 12:46 PM

The song was from me..
...and the Trees...? well, you know...
.
The Man Who Planted Trees

...of course it's also how I refer to our friend, Treebeard...

I've seen pictures of properties he's lived on all his life.
He & his mum before him, move into a desert community,
and by the time they move on it's an honest to God Forest.
smile

...very much like the book...
the trees remain and people assume that
even his fruit trees must be a natural phenomenon.
