Re: Comic Sans - 10/30/13 10:33 AM

I'd heard for years that comic sans was the worse font, but even so, it was my font of choice when I taught math to create test for my classes. It had easily recognizable letters and better at numerals that needed to be reproduced. It had the best numerals to use in equation editor

I had examined thousands of fonts to settle on comic sands.

Don't see anything wrong with comic sans

Me too, also!

Not only is it easy on the eyes,
it's also highly reproducible when drawing
and hand-inking your own comic strips...
I still use it when telling jokes on Forums.
It's a FUN alternative to using "A WINKY"

...best of all, it used to pisssoff Phos.

@Celandine:
I wasn't pissed off so much as saddened, when I pointed toward BUNCHES of free, excellent fonts on Blambot.com that actually looked like proper comic strip lettering, and you couldn't grok their aesthetic superiority.

NEVER!

That's like shooting fish in a barrel. Crossed eyes would piss off Phos. smirk

On his good days he had a lot to offer though.

Although the UBB image tags are still confusing. smirk

I see you still lurk anyway.

UBB code is a silly work around for coders who don't know how to implement specific tag sets.

LOL. w/e You just forgot the .jpg in your url.

Like I said, on a good day, this is not one of them obviously.

Re: Comic Sans - 10/30/13 01:54 PM

I'd totally forgotten how to use UBB code...haven't been on any forums that use it in a long time. And I'd forgotten which URL to pull from Pixentral to display an uploaded image in-message.

LOL. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. One of my top 5.

He's a lurker or has an informant. Kind of weird actually IMO. Doesn't want to participate, but wants to peek in the window.

Long but not honorable IMO. I can see copping an attitude and taking a short hiatus, we've all done that, but if it goes on for years it's a bit of an obsession IMO.

My guess is still an informant in this case.

Next thing you know the "something or other self-rising recipe" thread is going to start seeing posts again. And I'll have to complain again how my Mom never microwaved every imaginable edible item. shocked
