Elvin Bishop - 09/15/13 04:37 PM

Haven't listened in years.
What happy, fun music. Love it!
Had a stellar cast of backup musicians too.

"wannabees" indeed

Sorry, I even consider Clapton "WhiteBoy Blues"
"'The Maid Wants Another Day Off' Blues"
"'The Mercede's In the Shop Again' Blues"
cry

if you'll excuse the pun
it Pales by comparison to the real deal

but whatever gets people to listen to the
cross-over between rock/blues/zydego works for me.

Couldn't be worse than Bob Dylan's or Willie Nelson's and THEY get away with it !! wink

In fact I like both because they ARE unconventional !!

eggsackly
Rod Stewart - Joe Cocker - Richie Havens

for that matter
Roger Waters & that Aussie bloke I'm always on about
-- Paul Kelly -- who even I admit has a voice like
10kilometers of dusty outback unsealed highway... eek

If it'weren't for their exquisite lyrics even
I'd change the bloody channel!

Now this one definitely has to watch out for the change of life voice.

Either they can use the traditional method of
making sure his 'voice' doesn't ever drop...
...or allow them to drop ..er.. an octave since
it's not only the youthful voice that makes his
sound unique, but also his phrasing, that would
still sound good no matter which key he sang in.
