Holy moly!

That is some rock?

Doesn't appear the car was hit by the big one because if it was it would have been crunch more than it appeared.

I certainly was pelted by little rocks. .

Looking at it again, the big one had fallen nearer to the cliff off of the road somewhat. It was rolling on to the highway.

Dave.. did you see the boulder on the skyline and it's disappearance as it fell?

And the mudslide pushed the car out of the way of where the boulder landed. Lucky people.

Watch it on YouTube full screen...

What Goes UP Must Come DOWN!

Even though we're on the face of the Earth
for what seems like forever.. it is actually
merely a Tick of the Geological Clock.

What seems solid and unchanging beneath
our feet is actually solid rock being kneaded
like bread -- folded, baked and thrust high
into the air, only to be brought low again
crushed beneath the weight of water, time
and gravity -- then recycled once again.

The Earth yearning for Uniformity (flatness)
"Slump", "Creep", and often "Tumble" are
merely just another Force of Nature. smile

BTW
It brings to mind the George Carlin Rant
about people choosing to live on the edge
of a Volcano -- who are shocked when they
wind up having Lava In the Living Room! smirk
