I was thinking of getting a GoPro Hero3 is anyone here using one and how do you like it, for the cost of it seems like a good deal

I have the Hero 2 and it's quite nice! Does a great job. It doesn't do well at night video though. Otherwise...superb.

Call me a cynic, but if that's the best, I'd hate to see the worst. smirk

I'm not a photographer, I'm an Illustrator
who makes use of photographic Reference Material.

I've long dreampt of a full 360 representation
of my old camp-site in UpState New York that I'd
LOVE to reproduce on my large livingroom wallS..
A 360 View.. of the bridge leading in, the trails
coming & going in 4 directions 2 along a rushing
trout stream, with the overgrown apple orchard
at my back, & my colonial furniture & plopped
down in the midst of my vision of "paradise"...
Just Add simulated CampFire laugh (and some Smores)

What I meant is that in the context of what GoPros do and how they're used, this video didn't knock me out. 'Nuther words, the content is cool, but it could've been shot with almost any camera.

Sure.. but have you tried mounting 27 regular sized cameras on a board and holding it?

I get what you are saying...
Way to turn the thread on its head.
