Violence caught on nanny cam. - 06/29/13 06:16 PM

Not easy to watch... but the woman wants people to see this so that the perp may be caught.

Very violent home intrusion.

Think in this case she would not have had time to reach a gun if she had one, that or the perp could have taken it away from her and used it against her

Millburn is close enough to me that the cops
here are searching for the perpetrator.

Ted was cutting through an alley between the
convenience store and the main drag when he
stepped out into what looked like a scene
straight out of "COPS"!

7 Cruisers blocking Broad St to all traffic
as the patrolmen ran the info. of a dude
fitting the perpetrator's general description
as seen through that Fuzzy Nanny-Cam.

One of the cops is our neighbor, so he was
able to tell Ted what was going down...
...the guy's info. checked out, so the cops
were able to apologize/thank him for his
co-operation, and send him on his way. cool

I just hope it's the right guy.
I doano if he's left handed, but
IMHO the guy in the cam-shot seems
a bit younger, slimmer and more fit.

It seems strange with the advanced techno abilities we have that no one has come up with with a nanny/street/store video camera that is not fuzzy, or distorts the the people in the video

I'm with you on that ... I can't get over how fuzzy security cams are and nanny cams and web cams. If it's recoding to a DVR.. there's no excuse or reason.

I deal with some client's security cams.

It's just like your business. It's not the DVR limitations or image capture limitations, it's the optics of the cameras, and the bandwidth/wiring/wireless needed for higher res cameras to get the data to the DVR in a timely fashion.

Which translates into major $$$ as compared to your Daddy's security cam. smirk
