Facebook scams - 03/04/13 09:29 AM

For Pete's sake (and mine) puh-leeze quit clicking on these scams.

If you see a post about sick kids with rare cancer who lost all their family to a horrible house fire and if you donít like it then 100 more children will get cancer from terrorists Ė itís not real. Donít click on it.

if you see a post that says type this word in and see what happens.. DON"T!

Here's why...

It's a scam. We've all known it for quite some time... but here is a concise summary of how and why.

Cuz I wouldn't do that to youse guys.... confused

Even if the links owner is using this to get edge... who cares?
It makes people aware of the methodology and maybe we'll see a few less of these annoyances.

Before I left for work this morning there was a CNN special on pimps using social networking, especially FB to find isolated women, friend them, get to know about them, and slowly work their way into their lives and then start them walking the streets.
