From my 6115 CD - 12/09/02 05:53 PM

I finally got my ethernet adapter, and so I'm posting this from my 6115 CD, running OS 8.1 with a whopping 40 MB of RAM giving awesome power to the PowerPC 601 at a staggering 60 MHz. I'm just blown away by the elegance and speed of this machine!

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"

I have a Color Classic (2) with 10 MR RAM and 200 MB Hard Drive...OS 7.1. My other one that is running is hacked with an 040 and runs 8.1...it is actually rather fast.

Yeah... I think the Quadra is even older than that thing. I actually liked that model... it was kind of nice for what it was.

Visit me here!

My 512 K will beat your Quadra any day--although I can't get on line with it any more, it still "runs" pretty well.

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"

I bought one not too long ago at a Goodwill thrift store for $5.00, downloaded the system startup disk and Mac Write and Mac Paint. Started it up and bing....a Happy Mac face appeared on the screen and my face!

[color:green]"The day people stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them."
