Processing order?

Processing order? - 04/22/05 11:12 AM

After reading the front page of MM and how Tiger is shipping to some, I checked my order status and it says:

Processing Order
In-stock items are processed immediately so that you can begin enjoying your Apple products as soon as possible. Generally, orders can be modified while they are being processed.

Never noticed that before when I ordered something. I'm sure it's nothing but it would be nice to get Tiger early!

You installed Pages but not Keynote?

Re: Processing order? - 04/22/05 09:02 PM

LOL... I tried pages for 5 minutes. I placed a photo along with two lines of text and a colored box - then exported to HTML. I then *tried* to get it to look even close to the way it does in Pages in a Web browser... Muahahahahahaaa! Pages is a complete joke even MS Word exports better HTML and that isn't saying much!

CreativeGuy: For your "fix" of design software tips, tricks & commentary.

Yes, it is a complete joke for html export... fortunately that isn't what I use it for.

I write a lot of things like lab protocols. Basically rich text peppered with drawings and photos. For that it beats the sh!t out of Word. I love it.

I like this one. Gnutella is no good for large files. You have to go BT or Usenet.
