Seems to have broken SpellBound. I can see this will be a PIA with Firefox, having to wait for extensions to catch up to new browser versions. Bleh.

Ok. I had to uninstall the extension and start over — libraries, too. Hope that's not the case with every update.

Yeah..I keep my extension load light for that reason.

Although, I am sure there is an extension to update all the other extensions

I only have SpellBound, and the bandwidth tester (which I'm about to delete because it doesn't add any value).

I've not been forced to update any of my extensions after a browser update though I haven't updated to the latest version of Firefox (because it offers me no reason to update).

CreativeGuy: For your "fix" of design software tips, tricks & commentary.

Having to update Spellbound for each FireFox update has caused me to wait until better pop-up blocking is updated in FireFox.

Better pop-up blocking??? How can it get any better? You mean you actually get pop-ups? I've yet to receive a single one.

By the way, here's a way to check out your browsers pop-up blocking capabilities.

CreativeGuy: For your "fix" of design software tips, tricks & commentary.

CRAP!

I STILL can't get the maps to load at maps.google.com; they used to when the beta site first came online.

I disabled all of my extensions. I'm still at Firefox 1.0.2.

I sure as hell would like to be able to remember what I did to have it quit working for me.

I get them all of the time with any browser at sites like the Drudge Report, etc. I remember a while back a company has touted the fact they have a new script that bypasses most pop-up blockers.

They load for me in 1.0.3.

Using Firefox 1.0 I still get the "dropdown" and the "sticky" to show up from your pop-up test site. Are you saying you don't see those?

Re: Firefox 1.0.3 - 04/18/05 07:26 AM

I see the dropdown, but not the sticky. Only thing is, I've never seen a site that uses the dropdown method.

CreativeGuy: For your "fix" of design software tips, tricks & commentary.

The sticky is in the far upper right corner. I had to scroll over to see it.

In reply to:

Only thing is, I've never seen a site that uses the dropdown method.

Shhh!
