I hope Apple gets rid of ALL the glossy Aqua style UI. Currently they haven't (in the latest Developer Preview builds).

Love the new Mail GUI.

As long as they get rid of the dreaded "missing plug in" issue.. I won't care what mail looks like..lol.

It runs smooth as silk on an original MacPro with 11 GB RAM. LOVE the new UI changes.

What price do you think this will be?

Re: Appleinsider's look at 10.7 - 04/15/11 04:38 AM

A full point upgrade was typically $129.00
It seems Apple has sold point releases for about $100.00 also.

I would say $79 at the very lowest.

We'll see pretty soon...

It was originally scheduled to be $129, but with the Mac App Store, I'm not to sure they won't offer it as download version cheaper than the boxed version. Downloading a 3.6 GB file is a bit much for many people, but it's not that bad for those with high-speed cable modems.

I expect a mid-June release.
