AAPL has been doing awesome over the last year, for sure. but i notice that P/E ratio is getting very close to 25:1 and above 25 is when i no longer consider buying most stocks. that doesn't mean i'll be selling my AAPL, but i will probably look elsewhere for new purchases.
that being said, from what i can tell it is looking like Apple is now the 3rd most valuable company in America and quickly approaching Microsoft (though still a ways behind). Exxon Mobile is way out in front. but still, there were times in the 90s when some people talked about Apple dying . . . and now they're #3 (i think). simply amazing.

i thought that's what yoyo was referring to with his response. i saw the contradictory posts but since i thought yoyo seemed to note it then i moved on to the stock in general.
