Earthlink's horrendous e-mail service - 09/27/04 04:05 AM

It is not possible for an ISP to suck more when it comes to e-mail.

I send 90-95% of e-mails without incident, but the e-mail I NEED to reach somewhere on time, it takes hours to get there. Why? Who knows!

Whenever I e-mail tech support, I receive a reply in broken English from Mr. Patel in India telling me to check the speed of my RAM.

Earthlink recently changed its SMTP server setting to "smtpauth" - did you make those changes to your mail program?

Also, make sure you turn off their silly spam blocker software as part of the Earthlink Tools.
