Re: Lost formatting - 09/17/10 02:27 PM

yes -- we know what's up
working on it.

the main MacTech server is getting a major emergency reconfig.

and that affects the forums as well for all the formatting, and header/footer stuff

Prolly seems picky..
..what with your bigger fixit stuff
but Images & Smilies can't be posted
on the same lines along with the Text
without jumping to the next line down. frown

Ah So! Thanx for letting me know.

Well at least Neil is already aware of it.
I'm sure he'll get around to it once the
more pressing issues get put right.

More a Format Issue than a Link Issue:

Not sure if this type problem can be sorted out..

It's a long running thread that gets resurrected
every time someone has a Recipe Worth Sharing.

smile whistle frown ...and still waiting on the Smilie Stacking Issue.

I don't have time right now to sort through this -- can you distill it down to a comprehensible bug report?

This link explains it pretty well.

But in a nutshell, the emoticons are just gifs being placed. For some reason Returns are being put before and after each one. Like my example in the last post of the link above shows, even if I link to smilies on my web space it does the same thing. I used all gif, like the smilies here, I don't know if other pics do it.

Re: Lost formatting - 10/14/10 06:54 PM

I can now smilie in the same sentence as when I smilie? grin

I grin for all the little people who have toiled in the trenches as we have grin
in separate sentences to the ridicule of all other forums.
