So... if I include an emoticon (such as :() in a line of test, it ends up on a line by itself frown when the message gets posted.

That started a week ? or so ago. There seems to be a return or break or whatever before and after each one now.

That's very odd. It does it even if you use raw HTML code.

Another oddity I just notice. When I clicked on this room its showed 2 new threads and 5 post.

This thread showed up in (red) - the 2nd thread is not tag in red.

It does it with smilies that are hosted elsewhere too. These are images from my web space at my ISP. The software must be putting returns before the first image, and then after each following image.

Just an FYI, that we have been trying to track this down, but unsure of the cause yet. Seems to be possibly a CSS from the main site overriding the forum one and causing this as it's not caused from an actual line/carriage return.
