I got this message several times today.

Also, when responding to posts, it gets really slow.

And just now as I try to post this.

Issues continuing. I couldn't get a rise from here for 30 minutes. Got in long enough to open this thread, and then it took another 5 minutes to open a post.

I got the same thing about half an hour ago. But since this hardly ever happens, and when it does, it's fixed in no time, I realized how easy it is to forget that this place is amazingly dependable ~ Everything runs efficiently, smooth and quiet. OK, so not in the Box, but still . . . laugh

Ah, how quickly we come to take things for granted. That's always a good reflection on the back of the house. smile

Re: Forum buggy today - 11/11/09 06:32 PM

Suggestion: Next time, take everything down (announce the outage or redirect to a simple "We'll be back soon" page), apply the update, and then bring things back on line. wink

Now yes. In fact it's pretty snappy now.

Well, it's a lot more than the forums that are affected. So, that's a whole lot easier. We think we know what happened that caused this, and of course, the stupid part was doing it during the day. It just went so easily on one of our internal servers, we didn't think much of it.

Ah well, it's never that easy. smile

I went outside and made mud pies for a while. Seems okay now that I'm back in again.

Snappier than yesterday do you think? (e.g., clear of any of today's changes)

Thanks!

Re: Forum buggy today - 11/12/09 09:00 AM

I obviously slept it over all the buggy parts and arrived directly to a forum that does seem “pretty snappy”, as Reboot and others have commented.

Thanks to the whole MacTech team.
