PC with Windows Software - 12/23/12 10:34 PM

I get this on my neighbor's PC when I go to Linfield College web site to look at a web cam.

Axis Media Control
The AXIS Media Control, which enables you to view live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer, could not be registered on your computer.

I found the software and downloaded. I can't find it on the PC. Is there a "download" folder? Or how do I find the file? I found a "find" command but it just wants to look on a page that I'm on.

Invite the neighbor over to see it on your iMac. No mess; no fuss! wink

I know what you're saying! I don't usually try and help her, but this seemed like such a simple thing all PCs ought to be able to do and see on web pages.

It probably is. Finally got the file .exe I needed and when I went to install it, it said I needed Admin privs. Well, yes! Her PC guy fixed it so she couldn't accidentally screw it up or her grand kids couldn't install messy junque on her PC. That was a good idea, but that was as far as I could go.

So near, yet so far.

Thanks Nut Dood. smile smile
