Crossover question - 05/24/09 04:20 PM

This option was discussed in another thread about MLS. I'm curious about Crossover and the possibility of downloading IE 7 or 8 to use with it - except M$'s IE download page crashes FF on my Mac. I notice that Crossover states that you can install Windows software from a CD. Does it require an install CD, or can it be done with a downloaded app/installer?

I was also looking at the Windows 7 page to see if I could discover the minimum system requirements - not directly listed, of course. That page also crashed FF. grin

I have the latest Windows 7 installed on my iMac using Parallels. (the demo version)

It's handy for those times when my son wants to play a game that's winblows only.

I was only looking to see just what MS says the system requirements are for it. I will not have Windows OS in my house! I don't need the aggravation. laugh

The MS site doesn't crash FF immediately. It takes a few minutes. It's like they finally id the access as Mac OS & FF and it issues a kill command. laugh
