All the SSDs that I've seen are 2.5" jobs. Is there an adaptor for the slots in towers, which take 3.5" drives? I'm thinking of putting one in my desktop just cause my new laptop has gotten me used to almost-instantaneous response.

Which MacPro? If it's the kind with 4 bays and drive sleds OWC has some for around $20.
If it's the older model most any 2.5 to 3.5 adapter should do.

Last time I looked OWC had a page of SSDs and some included the adapter as a kit.
