tips for older G4 tower users

Hey guys I made a recent discover.

When playing movies with VLC full screen it ran slightly slower.

but playing videos full screen with Quicktime with Perian installed the videos play at the correct speed in full screen mode.

so just a tip

I've noticed the same thing on my older G4's, especially on a Smurf. The difference was amazing. VLC kept on dropping, and QT was just choppy.

my QT on my QS thats in my sig runs really well with dowloaded movies since I installed Perian

then again I have a 128 MB v-card and over a gig of ram

Odd, VLC always worked fine for me but QT always screwed up at one point.

Although I had 1GB ram, overclocked CPU and a ATI 7000 w/ 64MB of VRAM.
