How does one download and play a youtube video using snow leopard? The old double click to download doesn't work anymore apparently.

There are numerous YouTube video download extensions for all the major browsers. Here are a few:

Google Chrome - YouTube Downloader
Firefox - YouTube Downloader
Safari - YouTube Video Downloader

In Safari, Option clicking the 'big' file in the Activity window will download the video.

The extension is so much nicer - placing a button right on the YouTube page.

Click the Downloads button on this page.

Choose YouTube-video-downloader-1.1.4.safariextz, go to your downloads folder and double click the YouTube-video-downloader-1.1.4.safariextz file.

It installs for me, it shows in Extensions in Safari prefs, but I get no Download Now button, it seems to be broken. It's been over a year since he wrote the extension, must not be compatible the newest Safari.
