Browser redirect in Flash MX

Browser redirect in Flash MX - 08/25/03 08:36 AM

I know this is probably simple but this is the first time I've needed to use this function. I have an intro animation that once it has played will redirect the browser to a main page. I know how to do a timed redirect with Java scripting. But that isn't always reliable depending on the browser. What type of actionscript do I use to let Flash play the animation and then redirect to the main page? I hope this makes sense.

I've seen this a million times on the web but until now I've never needed to do it.

Basically, you just need to put a command in the last frame of your Flash movie that tells the browser to go to the page you want...

I was just overthinking it. GetURL worked great. Thanks!
