Is that the interview with Al Whipple, Vijay? I love that interview. I've never heard anyone be mor ehonest about the software he makes. And when King asks him about how the licencing works, and Whipple says something like if you own the CD you can use it on however many computers you own--well, music to these ears. Even though Whipple says that the soon-to-be-released X-native version of DW is not really necessary to buy, I'm going to buy it just because Alsoft deserves all the support he can get (and i can give him).

I also think it's kinda funny that System Works from Norton has a castrated version of DW on its installation CD. Just in case Norton screws your drive, no doubt

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"

Have you used it? Because the folks down at the Apple store here in Phoenix have, and they told me that while it "works" (as in, you launch it and it spends hours doing something), they have no idea what it is doing, but it isn't optimizing the disk - they ran Norton right after Drive10 and it showed it as completely fragmented.

I'm not sticking up for Norton, because quite frankly Norton is the last thing I would let touch my computer. I haven't used a disk optimizing app on my computers in years and I never have problems - so I'm not about to mess them up by beta testing these stupid apps.

[color:red]semicolon dash parenthesis
