iraszl Carpal Tunnel Registered: 07/21/02 Posts: 6182 Loc: Bahrain	A friend of mine has a problem on his 15" PB. All the locations from the apple menu disappeared. I tried to recreate them in sys prefs, but they don't stick. Nothing shows. What could be the issue? I tried fsck, but no luck. nutty Pooh-Bah Registered: 01/07/03 Posts: 2363	everyone repeat after me:<br><br><br>fsck - is not a magic cure all<br><br>it is made for checking the disk same as disk utility. it wont make the locations come back. a pref is hosed and needs to be redone.<br><br><br><br>
